Join Annapolis Basin Protectors and help protect our waters from industrial open-net fin fish farming.

We consider all of our supporters, email subscribers, and followers as part of the Annapolis Basin Protectors community. Membership is for those who want to formally support our advocacy work and have a voice in the organization's direction.

Membership is Pay What You Can — suggested $20/person or $10/students and seniors. No one is turned away for inability to pay.

Membership FAQ

When does my membership expire?

Annual memberships expire on December 31 each year.

What are the benefits of membership?

Members have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and any Special Meetings of Annapolis Basin Protectors. Each membership carries one vote.

How much does membership cost?

Membership is Pay What You Can. We suggest $20 for regular members or $10 for students and seniors, but you can contribute whatever amount works for you.

Can I get a tax receipt for my membership?

No. Annapolis Basin Protectors is a registered non-profit society but not a registered charity, so we cannot provide tax receipts for membership payments.

Do you offer family or group memberships?

No. Each membership is individual, with one vote per membership.

How do I renew my membership?

Submit the membership form and select "Renewal" as your membership type, then send your payment via e-transfer. Your membership will be renewed for the following calendar year.

Who manages the membership registry?

The Secretary of Annapolis Basin Protectors maintains the official membership registry in accordance with our society bylaws.
